Broward College August 2011

Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?

My GPA is 4.0 and I got 93 on the HESI. I live in Broward so I have 17 points. I am eleigle to register for non nursing classes tomorrow. I wish I knew for sure if I am get in or not.

You def got in! You have a 4.0 and a high hesi score you should be just fine! It's me that has to worry :( I have. 3.3

Don't get discouraged! I think they extended the application deadline because they didn't have enough applicants.

I think so as well. I'm just putting my trust and faith in the lord at this point.

My GPA is 4.0 and I got a 96. Going for South Campus...FYI, the point system starts with a 4.0 and it goes down a point as you climb down the 3.x ladder. i.e: 4.0=16, 3.9=15, 3.8=14, etc..

Sooooo true! I wouldnt be discouraged. Your GPA is not bad and your HESI is in good range. I wouldnt worry!!:) Keep the faith!

Uggh! I know. I take the hesi on Monday and I turn my app in on Monday!! I'm so nervous.

The wait is also killing me. Even though they told me they will not start making decisions until June, I find myself checking my status everyday! Why do I torment myself? Have a great weekend! :yeah:
