Broward College August 2011

Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?

I did really good on 4 sections of the hesi except for A&P, which i got a 72. Is it possible that you can still get in despite that?

I believe you need at least a 75% in each section.

No, because u need a 75 in each section. U need to take that section over.

is health science admissions closed on fridays?

I think so. I went today and the sign said mon-Thurs, but call them. Have u registered for the exam yet? To take it again I mean.. Just anatomy.

No im going to do that today. ill take it on Friday, then i would like to hand-deliver my results to the school that day but if they are closed i cant. But when i went to health science admiss. a lady gave me her email so i can email my results but the thing is is that the results come to ur email like 24 hrs after u take it and i want to make sure i turn it in b4 the deadline.

Where are you taking it? I took mine yesterday at FAU and I got my results the same day and then went straight to BC. Take it at FAU.

You could always scan in the paper they give you with the results and email that to her on Friday. Good luck on your retake. I have a friend that is doing the exact same thing. He is retaking A&P this week.

It is either 20 or 25. I think you could also pay it online :)
