Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?
Do u guys know the course numbers for the CPR courses and aids.. Well all of them lol

Hello everyone!
I have also applied for Broward College's RN program starting August 2011.
My GPA is a 3.3 and I have a pretty good HESI score of 92%. I'm still worried that I may not get in because I only have 9 points (as per the limited access info online). Anyone heard of them accepting someone with only 9 points???

Hi there! I have heard of others getting accepted with less points. I do know that having a good HESI score will help you! Good luck!! We are all hoping they start reviewing the applications soon. It sounds like they are just putting them into the system right now.

From what I read on other threads, they typically start to get replies a month later. At a minimum, I wouldnt expect to hear anything until the 15th of June (based on the original application deadline). Then orientation has begun on the first week of July followed by registration right after. This gives us an adequate amount of time to take the remaining courses and physicals before classes begin.
