Broward College August 2011

Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?

The office at Central said they were taking about 300 aplications. No idea about the other campuses. I am so tired of checking my status to read "Application in Review".

So am I! Do you think they except 300 applications for all of Broward college or just for one campus?

Has anyone gotten any of the shots required yet? Or done the CPR or aids stuff?

I attended an information session at the North Campus a week ago and The Dean of Nursing of the North Campus informed us that they will accept 300-350 students. This total is shared amongst all campuses.

Yep! I have faith and confidence that I wil get in. I am just anxiously waiting.......

Tommorow I have to drop off proof that I was a member of HOSA in 1997/1998, this wil give me a total of 20pts.

I am making sure "I leave no stone unturned". BY FAITH I WILL ACCEPTED AND MOST IMPORTANTLY SURVIVE THE ENTIRE PROGRAM......:yeah:

I finished the BLS course and 2 out of the 3 Hepatitis shots. Next one is due in August.

.....and the wait continues. June 15th can get here any sooner. Im tired of checking the site everyday:D

How much did u pay for the shots, and where did u go? I don't have insurance, so I want to weigh my options. I will be going to North.
