Broward College August 2011

Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?

I was told they were "hoping" for sometime in June! Well ..... tomorrow June starts LOL!!!

I think that's y they extended the app period.

I hope you are right. Every time I talk to someone I feel like they are all applying for Nursing in August!! But I guess that is because all of the classes I am taking are pre-req's LOL

Remember that there are a lot of campus's. So I think we all have a really good shot at getting in! What's everyones gpa and hesi scores if u don't mind me asking! It helps to compare lol mine is 3.3 and 86

3.3 GPA, 92 HESI score....I also have a feeling that there aren't as many applicants as in past semesters...

I don't think so either. Usually when schools implement a entrance exam people stop applying lol. I'm a little nervous but I'm leaving it in gods hands!!

I guess we'll know in about 2 weeks or sooner if we're lucky, lol
