Hello!!! Just wondering if anyone else has applied for August 2010 yet? :)

Does anyone know what the cutoff gpa was for Fall 2009 Class and January?

I think I read somewhere that it was somewhere around 3.2 or 3.3, I can't remember exactly. I turned in my application today and they said that so far they don't yet have enough applications to know what the GPA requirement will be for the Fall.

I applied for and got in Aug 2009. They didn't tell us the GPA's but they accepted students with 9-10 pts and put people with 8 pts on as alternates, which was only about 30 students. They ended up accepting all the alternates anyway.

I think January was similar but I don't know.

Hey ladieej.. I am in the same boat you are! I'm taking Chem1040 for summer A to replace my Chem 1032 grade which was a C. I am striving for an A so that I can jump from 8 points to 12. Best of Luck! And what campus are you taking your Chem class at?

HI everyone,

I just turned in my app on wed. and I ask the lady at the health science department if a lot of students turned in apps. She said normally at this time they have over 400 app processed by now, and right now they don't even have 100. She personally has only entered 6 (at central) The hesi test is making a big difference, hopes this helps calm some nerves ( i know it made me feel a little better) lol

Thanks for the info, wolanskia! I turned my application in yesterday so now I just have to wait...and wait. I asked the woman who entered my application if we have to wait until July for their decision and she told me yes. Hopefully the number of applications that they receive until then remains low to help all of our chances! :)

The woman who entered my app at Central told me that the people who apply by May 15 should hear within 30 days.

I'm really hoping that we hear back waaaay before July!!!! This extended waiting period is no bueno!!!!! Lol

I was thinking the same thing too...its gonna be crazy...would we have enough time to get everything done...I hope so :(
