Hello!!! Just wondering if anyone else has applied for August 2010 yet? :)

This doesnt make ANY sense at all. Who was the lady that you spoke to?? If seats are filled why on earth would they accept applications? And why does it say the application period is closed on the website?

It says that the application period closes on July 15th now. Not sure what is going on for those people, but good luck everyone. I would keep speaking to people because stories change. Stay positive!! I had 14 points and 90% on Hesi...I applied before the May 15th deadline. Good luck!

I called today and they said that there is no ending date. To just apply. Take the HESI, we dont have to pass but its a good idea that we do. I think because, they may change there mind. A lot pf people are not applying. SO the less apply the better off it is. I am glad that we dont have to pass that freakin HESI!!! .. I just want to get in the program and learn what i need to know!.. I takae my test this SAturday. But stil freaking out because I want to pass just in case they change again!.. The web says 7/15/2010 but she said there is no present date. SO confused!!! I remember last month the date was 7/31/2010.. So when will we get accepted. DO we have to wait till after july 15,2010.. will i get approved instantly!!! Crap.. I dont know what to do!.

I took my AP class last month and i dont remember CRAP!!!

Blondiemix...I know that one girl with an excellent gpa and hesi went into the office and asked her status...they had completely skipped her (human error) and accepted her shortly there after (a friend of mine told me this). I would go in and talk to someone face to face. Calling and emailing does nothing.

I spoke to someone today and was told that it is not over and i can still apply and take the HESI!!! I Am so confused. She also said that i dont have to pass the test. just take it but its a good idea to pass!! what is going on here.. online it state i have till 7/15 but she said there is no end date as of yet. and the forum is stating that it has ended!

Amazing!!!! they just closed the window before the jul 2nd deadline ... now they have extended it to July 15th??? At this point its probably about money IMO because they have qualified candidates still in the pool.

To those who are still waiting .. its not over yet ... Good Luck !!! Spots are gonna most likely open up 2morrow !

how much does nurse make first year base and how does the salary scale work for the next year.. so forth?

This is crazy. I personally spoke with the person at health science admissions. She told me they had offered all the seats already and that is why were all still in review. She explained to me that everyone who was invited must state they are going by today, and accept their seat at orientation tomorrow, and that they would have until mid july to register. At this point there were no more seats, and that to wait until mid july to see if any seats open up.. Why are there soooo many different things being told. But who I spoke with which I can't write her name here is the ONLY person at health science admissions at Central. She even showed me all my stuff on the computer!

Well they usually have alternates did she say how they would give out the seats that are available :confused: is it innie minnie moe ??? this is really terrible and unprofessional .

no she didn't, because as of right now there are none. We have to wait and see if people decline.

Why would they extend it to July 15 if all seats are filled?
