Ok I feel better I e-mailed someone in nursing admission and they said that there record show I applied and they have my points so I uess its the system thats messed up :)

Did anyone happen to ask when they expect to start notifying people regarding acceptance to the program? I know I'm being impatient but taking Micro AND waiting for an answer from nursing admissions is driving me a little crazy. :bugeyes:

I did stop by admissions this morning but I didn't want to ask when the decision would be made. They did have a sign up that health science would be closed from 12-4:30 this afternoon. I was hoping that maybe they would be going through applications :) They will probably keep us waiting for at least a couple more weeks

mizstriss-how did the exam go? Glad to see you made it through :) Do you think the lab we did today will be on the quiz tomorrow?

I'm still alive after my test! I'll talk to you tomorrow about it...I don't think the lab from today will be on the quiz. We didn't get to view our DNA fingerprint results etc. or anything. See you tomorrow bright and early!

So, I spoke with Central Health Science admissions today...I asked if she knew when students would begin to get acceptance emails. She said that nursing admissions is having a meeting tomorrow to discuss how they will use the HESI. She said they were supposed to be able to tell people who applied by the May 15th "first" deadline w/in 30 days, but now she wasn't sure. I guess at this meeting they are going to decide whether or not to weigh the HESI scores. She said that I could stop back the day after tomorrow and she would be able to tell me the result of the meeting and what they were doing with the HESI.

I guess we will all just have to wait and see!!

IMO they should have decided what to do with the results before they made the test mandatory. It's a little late in the game to be making a plan for that. On the other hand, I'm hoping the HESI is weighted, otherwise it was a waste of time and money.
