Did anyone take the HESI at the davie center? Do they allow calculators, scratch paper or dry erase boards

i took my hesi exam there... they only supplied a dry erase board for the math portion. u can probably use the computers calculator but im not sure... i didnt ask

Hi guys!! I'm deciding between MDC and BCC to go for my ADN. I just checked into the BCC web page and I saw that the pre-requisits were:

* ENC1101 (English Composition I) (3 credit hours)

* CHM 1032 (Chemistry for Health Science) (3 credit hours)

* BSC1085 (Human Anatomy & Physiology I) (3 credit hours)

* BSC 1085L (Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab) (1 credit hour)

* BSC 1086 (Human Anatomy & Physiology II)(3 credit hours)

* BSC 1086L (Human Anatomy & Physiology II Lab) (1 credit hour)

*HCP0130 (Health Career Core) (75.0 Contact Hours

Those are 7 classes against the 14 that MDC requires.

I've seen some post from BCC students and they've said something about micro...but I believe those are older posts...so I wanted to ask you guys 'cause you know better.

To enter the BCC nursing program is as easy as it looks? or I'm wrong about all this?

I'll really appreciate your answers....If it works like I think, I'd be applying to the BCC nursing program in fall 11, on the contrary if I keep going with MDC I'd be applying in Spring 12...and I don't like the idea of waisting a semester. Thanks again

For BC you need Micro to graduate, but not to apply. At MDC you need a lot more classes to get in. However, if you think about it's still the same amount of time b/c BC is 5 semesters and MDC is only 4. So either way you would still finish at the same time.

ok im a little worried guys I dont know if its me or this is happening to everybody, but over the weekend the MyBC website was closed for system maintance so today I went on the website and obvisously its changed a bit...I clicked on Limited Access Aplication AND THERE IS NOTHING THERE...OMG I am freaking out It says "Student Objective record does not exist."

Mine is still there and still says "Application in Review". Wow! I hope they get it fixed for you.

OMG , i thought it was just me.... i just went on the website too and saw that... but my whole application is kinda messed up.. my application term said 2009-1 n my points werent showing anymore.. what's up with that????

Same thing with my application. Obviously the system maintenance did something to it. I'm sure it will be resolved. I'm going to check with admissions tomorrow while I'm at school. No worries!!

It says the same "Student Objective record does not exist" for me, too and I am IN the program, lol. I wouldn't worry. Just check with them in a day or so if it still says the same thing. I think they are still working on the website because I have been trying to look at parts of the site and it isn't letting me.

I talked with someone in admissions this morning... My app is messed up, as well... It's just a glitch in the system... They said it'll be fixed in a few days.
