The scrub tops were $20.00 each.

leavingteaching,

does the bundle come with just one cd or one with each book? if it is one with each book then which cd has the care plans?

thanks!

the bundle comes with one cd that has all the books on it except for the ones for the specialties. the care plans aren't on the cd. the cd is a good resource to use, but it's not an absolute necessity.

i didnt know we had to buy all white shoes...can they be any brand??any brand, just be sure they are comfortable.

also were are you guys buying your stethoscope?? at the campus bookstore?? or at a medical store???buy an inexpensive one. so, if it goes missing (which happens sometimes), you won't freak out. most students buy the one from the bookstore. a few buy litman's and freak out when they can't find it.

do they pay attention if you buy a different style of pants than what is in the bookstore, as long as it is the same brand and color?a lot of students buy different pants. i bought dickies from scrub pro for about $9. i tried on the ones form the book store today and they feel a little awkward.

i also bought a white lab coat at scrub pro for $6. it is exactly like the one in the bookstore, but it's not embroidered and not $25. i wore it for the entire program. no one cared. our instructors just wanted it to be white. most people usually only wear it in the cafeteria anyway. when working with patients, it gets warm and in the way.

I had a quyestion on the medical form...for the PPD Test it asks to attach results...what results??? When I was given the shot I came back to the doctor's office after 72 hours and me results were negative so thats what she wrote on the form...what are you suppose to attach??

Does anyone know??

If they noted your medical form, that should suffice. I had the titers done and there is a separate paper with all the results that shows the count of each titer done. I interpreted that as the results of the titers...They want to see the counts.

Yea I have the results from the titers too, but the PPD test is a skin test so there are no lab results so i was just wondering because it says attach results.

Anybody get the Hep B shot? Where did you get it and how much? I know we can go to the health dept but the wait is about 2 hrs... time I dont have right now. thanks

Minute clinic does them for $67.50. They are located inside CVS (not all CVS' have them so you'll have to find one). Also try Take Care Clinic inside walgreens (not all Walgreens have them, either, so call to check), or Value Care Medical Clinic located inside the Walmart on 441 and Oakland, or 441 and Sample. I don't know the cost at the Walgreens or Walmart clinics, but I know Valuecare did titers for the cheapest I could find.

I just got the scrub bottoms at Scrub Pro in Pompano Beach for $9.99. I would recommend going there. They have everything!
