I am in the program at the Central Campus, Although you wont need ALL the books for process 1 and 2 i bought the bundle because it just made sense too. The bundle bring the Jarvis book which your going to use in process 1 for your Physical Assessment, it also brings the nursing lab skills book which you need for the lab in process 1 and 2 and the remainder of the program and it also brings the MEd-Surg book which your going to use in GIGU so it made sense for me to buy the bundle because when you add all these books up seperately and compare the price of the bundle it makes more sense $$$ wise to get the bundle because it includes alot of books you need . Also if you can get the Test Success and Fundamentals success book, these helped me quiz myself with the chapters I read in Perry and potter and helped me do better on my exams. Be prepared to be happy with a C in the course, you just want to GET THROUGH IT.. and read EVERYTHINGGGGG all the chapters. Speed read (something I learned being in nursing school) then highlight the most important points, then read over your highlights, read your power points, and do the fundamentals success book and your in. Thats all you need to be successful and study every day, Folleco states to study 24 hours a week for Process 1 and 2 ( I didnt study THAT long) but it does help. I passed process 1 and 2 lecture and have a 2 year old and a significant other. So you can do it!! And stay away from NEGATIVE students who complain like "we didnt go over that in class, thats not fair that they tested us on this" You are NOT going to be spoon fed in Nursing school, you will find that it is alot of INDEPENDENT work involved. If you like studying in a study group, (which I did) Study on your own first ok.. this will help you to not get confused later... Wishing you must success in Nursing school :o):yeah:

hey so how are the teachers at central campus? who would you recommend? when will you finish the program???

I will be done in August 2010!!! Central Campus Teacher are tough for Process 1 and 2 then after that its kind of smooth... just try to pass and study like never before... it will be the hardest C you have ever earned.

what teachers did you take for process I and Process II??

what teachers did you take for process I and Process II??

I took Kantis for Process 1 and 2, she is tough, but you learn alot more than the students in Smith do. If you want to have an easier teacher go with Smith, if you want to learn more go to Kantis. Its up to you. Alot of people fail out of Kantis I am not going to lie, but if you can get through her class, she will prepare you for the rest of the program. I thank Kantis every day for teaching me how to study and all the learning skills I have aqcuired she ups the stakes and some people just choke. For lab in Process 1 and 2 in Central campus you want to get Lauer, Blackman, or Clements, or Burroughs, Hope this helps

i use this site in my spare time to practice, actually you can teach yourself also. i like it!
