Broward August 2015

Published

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

I turned in my application the second week of April

Wow, I would go bug them on Monday maybe they'll move a little faster

Which campus? I turned mine in last Thursday to central and by Friday it had already been updated. Yours seems to be taking too long. I'd call if I were you. =/ It might not be an issue, but I'd make sure just in case. You can never be too safe with all of this. Especially with all of the different information out there. Good luck.

Yes I agree. I will go in again monday morning. I handed it in at the central campus. I wonder if because i handed it in early that they just put it aside?

I also have 20161... The Fall semester is usually like that. It confused me at first lol.

I'm not sure. Maybe that's what happened. I just like to be prepared, because what if it was misplaced or something? I'm sure it's not, but worst case, you'll want to know and be able to turn in another one. Prepare for the worst is my way of thinking. I was ready to call about mine if it took more than a week lol. I was surprised at how quickly it happened though.

I turned mine in three days ago at central. My application changed this morning. Try to contact them on Monday.

Mine says 20161

Jbeans, I wouldn't rest until I find someone who will make it right.

Hi Acitrone, I am on ceufast because of the the information on the Broward RN May 2015 thread. I received a lot of good information from there. Not sure at the moment about the shots, I have to go back and read what was said.

I was going to go through Ceufast as well.

So I went in to speak with someone about my application and he said that if you reapply to the college for some reason the program doesnt allow them to change the status of your application. Now I did reapply to the school but that was before I submitted my nursing application. He check in the computer and apparently my application to the nursing program never went in (?) but he saw that I paid the $20 fee which I wouldn 't have been allowed to do unless I handed in my application. He said he was going to make sure that they had my app. I guess it's a good thing to keep bugging them. He was trying to brush me off at first, too. í ½í¸•

Jbeans, If something doesn't seem right don't stop till you get a satisfying answer, people tend to brush things off and they don't seem to care how important it is to you. I find that, for whatever reason, it is really bad in south florida. So since its like that you have to be your own advocate and fight for what you want and need.
