Brookhaven Spring 09

Anyone out there applying for the Spring 2009?

I'm applying for the second time. I applied last time to get the three extra points and this time I'll go crazy if I don't get in. -lol- I didn't expect to get in b/c I only had 20 points. Now, they decided to bring back the interviews! I'm scared to death of it, but all I can do is pray that they can see how bad I want this.

Anyways, just wanted to see if there was anybody else out there!

I'm glad I'll get it over with, but then the waiting is going to be so hard! Did you apply last semester? How many points did you apply with this time? Good luck to you and I hope I see you next semester!:nurse:

Yeah I applied with 20.something points last semester for the 3 points. This time I applied with 31.something. I ALWAYS forget the exact number. Never fails. -lol- Thanks & I'm wishing you the same! :-)

I'm doing mine on the 7th. I'm nervous. I wonder if from this point they base their decisions solely on the interview, or if they still take into account every person's ranking. good luck everyone!

Who knows. Seems to me like it's fair game now!

I think as long as you don't blow the interview, the points are still going to be significant.

The 7th at 10 am. I've been practicing, but I have no idea what they're going to ask. I'm ready to get this over with!!!

Hey you gotta give us a heads up what the interview is like. :wink2:

eh, mines at 8 am on the 7th. guess I'm going pretty early.

How many are they accepting this semester? 30? 40?

40 I believe

Thanks

The fFirst day of interviews is almost over! I was nervous for you guys. -lol- Hope it goes well!

So were the interviews tough? Did you feel like you needed to prepare or was it all pretty common sense type stuff?

Question: How do they calucalate your points I'm somewhat confused about it. I'm looking to apply for the Fall 09 semester and curious as to where I could possibly stand going into apply.

I have a all my pre-reqs done as well as, A&P II, Micro, Dev Psyc, and I'm currently taking Spanish.

My pre-req GPA is a 3.57

My HESI scorce was an 85.6

and...I would get 4 points for having A&P II and Micro

and another 2 points for having Dev. Psychology and Spanish...

So what would my points look like, I'm some what confused on how to calculate them. I know your supposed to subtract 75 from your HESI score which would give me 10 points or so in that area, but I'm not sure how you get the rest of your points from your GPA...

I see folks on here with 27 to 31 points and I'm just curious as to how they get that number. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm taking Patho, End of Life Issues, Dosage, and Pharm in the spring, did anybody have that schedule? If so, how did it go?

Hi, you currently have a total of 20.17 points. You just add you GPA + the Hesi 85.6-75= 10.6 + the points for the other classes for total of 20.17 plus any additional classes you'll have finished this fall.

Good Luck! :nuke:
