Anyone out there applying for the Spring 2009?
I'm applying for the second time. I applied last time to get the three extra points and this time I'll go crazy if I don't get in. -lol- I didn't expect to get in b/c I only had 20 points. Now, they decided to bring back the interviews! I'm scared to death of it, but all I can do is pray that they can see how bad I want this.
Anyways, just wanted to see if there was anybody else out there!

Hi, Fellowship of the Cat! I took Kasparian for both A&P I and II in Spring 08 and Fall 08. His tests/materials are actually taken from 3 different textbooks but the lecture text from Saladin helped me out. There is another lecture book out there that is green with a tennis player on it (one of the Williams sisters?? not sure) and I heard some of the material is grabbed from there, too. The lab book Human Anatomy & Physiology Laboratory Manual, Pig Version, w/ CD, 9th ed., Marieb, Benjamin Cummings is the best one to get. Make sure the PhysioEx CD is intact because you really need that to get all the extra credit. Also, the Photographic Atlas of Histology, LeBoffe will help a lot, too, esp on lab practicals. And, my best advice is: get a copy of the Body Within CD. I don't know where you can get it (I think the bookstore) but I burned it from a classmate and it's been my lifesaver. It's got pictures and labels of all the models in class so it's a huge help on lab practicals.
He is HARD! His tests/materials are very hard because it really has no structure and you are pretty much left out there. He's very generous at curves, though and if you do all the required PhysioEx activities which take about 3-4 hours each, your grade will go one point higher.
Let me know if you need help with anything else. I'm pretty much a "Kasparian survivor", as our class says.
