Anyone out there applying for the Spring 2009?

I'm applying for the second time. I applied last time to get the three extra points and this time I'll go crazy if I don't get in. -lol- I didn't expect to get in b/c I only had 20 points. Now, they decided to bring back the interviews! I'm scared to death of it, but all I can do is pray that they can see how bad I want this.

Anyways, just wanted to see if there was anybody else out there!

It is not a must to have one, but we found it really is almost impossible not to. We bought almost all of our books for the year at one time. It ended up being two boxes full, and we will need about 4 more before the end of the program. In all there are like 13 books in the boxed set which comes with a program to load them all into the computer. You can access all the books, highlight, take notes, and jump from one book to the another with the click of the mouse. You can also share notes with members of your study group by adjusting your settings. This allows you to take your laptop, lab manual, and maybe your drug book without having to drag all the other 13 books to class everyday. We actually had a man come in during success camp and show us how to set it all up. A good majority of the students in my class ended up buying a laptop if they didn't have one. It just makes sense because if the instructor says turn to page XXX in a certain book...you just click and your there, and your not searching through books, finding the right page, and finding out shes already moved on to something else.

Well thanks for letting me know. Just another expense I gotta worry about though.

Yeah, that's where I got mine from. I invested in one this summer. Once you personalize it the price may go up a tad bit but from my experience you can't go wrong with Dell.

Got the first e-mail today that verified the number of points I have. We're getting closer! Still going crazy over here though! -lol-

Yeah. The 29th. My stomach drops everytime I think of it. I don't know what I will do if I don't get that far.

I'm nervous. Do you know if they are going to tell you how you ranked as well as if you got an interview?

I am nervous for you guys, and I am already in the program. From those of us in first semester they never told us our ranking (so I wouldn't hold your breath on that). I didn't have to an interview so I curious about how that goes. You guys have me on the edge of my seat.

Tomorrow is the big day. I am not getting my hopes up since I am in 4 classes this semster that I am not going to get credit for until next semester. At least I have 3 more points!

I seriously doubt it. I've never heard of them telling everyone their ranking before.

Why do they make us wait all day? I'm going to be beyond disappointed in myself if I don't get it. *back to waiting now* -lol- I'm going to try and stay EXTREMELY busy today. I just know it's not going to come until like 5 or later!

I'll never forget the first BHC thread I saw when they were waiting. Now I see what it's like. -lol-
