Hello everyone, I would like to know who's applying to Brookhaven this fall for their Spring 2012 class, if so how many with how many points? I will be taking my last support course this summer, which is my elective (PHIL 1304). I am so excited, upon completion of this course I will have 32.39 points. I can't tell how nervous I am, I hope this is enough. Any advice from previous or current nursing program is welcomed.
What types of critical thinking questions are they going to ask? will they be medical related scenarios? Ms B emailed and said there would be 2 questions a piece, but I was under the impression that they were pretty standardized interview questions?? Let me know if ya'll find anything more out or if you have any info to pass along...PM me. Good night, Ladies!!!!
I don't know if there will be any critical thinking questions, I've just seen some in threads on here that I would not be prepared to answer. I started a thread to ask if anyone had experience with CC interviews specifically (because some of the scary examples were for MSN programs, etc) and was told that they were pretty basic questions. Good luck to everyone! :)
Hey Girls!!! I didn't want to think about the interview anymore, so I got some much needed pampering...Got my hair highlighted, etc., etc. If I start stressing, I'm just going to spend the rest of my time until the interview shopping!!! It calms my nerves. Escapebigd...wear what you feel most comfortable in that still looks professional; either outfit you described will be fine! Sugarmagnolia, slacks and a blouse or blazer will be just fine-it's professional attire...take it from me, I know...I was a flight attendant for 15 years and we wore slacks with a blouse and a blazer some days! Mia, you're going to do just fine. As for myself, I am not really concerned about my attire as much as I am about responding to the questions...I"m worried about sticking my foot in my mouth or freezing and not being able to answer at all! Do ya'll feel that way? UGH!!!!!
Good morning Kasey and Briterz, omg, this interview thing is really bugging me. I'm so ready for it to be over already. Its all I could think about last night.
Girl, we got this! :) I think all of us will do great, we've come this far and are obviously getting ourselves prepared... plus, lucky us for going on Tuesday and getting it over with!

Mia, you are so brave!!! I hope I pretty much pick basic questions too!! It's stressful enough as it is and one would think that they'd want to get to know a little bit about the candidates that the have to choose from rather than a 'what would you do' scenario. Oh well, we'll soon find out!!
