Brookhaven Nursing Program 2012 Class

Hello everyone, I would like to know who's applying to Brookhaven this fall for their Spring 2012 class, if so how many with how many points? I will be taking my last support course this summer, which is my elective (PHIL 1304). I am so excited, upon completion of this course I will have 32.39 points. I can't tell how nervous I am, I hope this is enough. Any advice from previous or current nursing program is welcomed.

As for the pressure - it is getting to me! I was real bummed to not get that email on Friday. My backup plans are Baylor (but I'd really hate to go into that much debt to go to school) or possibly applying to TWU's weekend program. Other than that, I guess applying to Brookhaven in the fall would be my next choice! I figure if I need to wait another semester anyway, might as well get the cheap tuition :) and they take more students in the fall so that would be in my favor too!

I'm actually kind of excited to see you guys get in for the Spring semester...then if I get into the Fall semester I will have you guys in the block ahead of me so I can ask you guys questions :)

I really do not want to go through another interview process; it was nerve racking!! And I felt better about my chances walking out of there than I feel now. I keep going over everything I said...was it too much? Was it too little?? My 1st question was a 3-parter, so I felt I needed to say more for that question. 2nd question, I condensed my answer more..I don't know.

Haha I feel the same way!! Briterz, it would be cool to go through the program with you - that would be the silver lining in having to wait until Fall!! If not though, I'll definitely keep in touch and give you lots of pointers!

Mine were how I dealt with an angry customer and what abilities, skills, & knowledge I thought were important for a nurse. I think I could have answered the first one much better than I did!

Just get the best competitive Hesi score you can, Briterz, and you should be fine!
