This is a forum for anyone applying to Brookhaven college ADN program for Spring 2018.What tips can you offer? Any challenges? How was the dosage calculation exam? Any tips for the critical thinking exam and the interview? How many points are you applying with?
Hi everyone!
I am looking forward to apply for the spring semester. I just took the DC exam last Saturday for the first time, I score 98. Very excited.
I am kind of confused with the vaccines. Do I have to get the vaccine and titers or do I need only the titers for MMR and hepatitis B?
Also if you guys need the cheapest vaccine, you can go to dallas health department, they only chargs $10 for each.
Hello everyone! My name is Samantha and I'm a first semester student. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask since I just went through the application process in the Spring.

You will need everything on this form done when you submit your application. You can always get the specific titers to confirm your immunity if you don't have records or you will need to get the vaccinations. Mildred in the health center on the first floor of the S building is absolutely amazing, she's a good place to start if you are confused or need her to sign off on your records.

I'l be taking mine tomorrow as well! Maybe we will see each other then :)
I was going to take it and then I figure out that there is a staff meeting at BHC and the campus is essentially closed as of 12:30p. I live in BCS so I wasn't about to drive three hours and rush to take it so I will be testing tomorrow as well as getting m y application checked.
What is the CT exam like? How can we prepare for it?
Hey, so there is no sure way to prepare for the CT exam because the BHC program created it and it's still fairly new; unlike the HESI, there is no study material avalible. It's mostly situational thinking - what would you do if kinda thing. Also, keep in mind that although applications are due the 29th, the CT exam has to be taken by the 17th (so tomorrow essentially).
