I just wanted to get a thread started for all of the BHC/MVC students; please help me get a support system going here. I am starting at BHC in Jan. 07 and would love to make contact with the other new students. It would also be great if the current students would join in too, maybe share some advise;) /horror stories.:uhoh21: I'm sure that you current students have a lot to say.
El Centro/Northlake has a couple of really good threads going, but it would sure be great to talk with those I will be going to school with too.
I might take dart also, from the Spring valley station. I haven't heard about bringing anything, so I guess not, unless you want to take notes or something.
Josh, you get community service hours for the mock trial? That's nice. It counts as a clinical day for us. Well, hope your interview goes well!
Yea!!! Last day of Clinical for Med/Surg. I am so Happy that part is over. Now only two more tests and the semester is over and then a whole 12 hours until next semester.
I'm starting at mountainview next semester and was wondering if anyone was graduating, or knew of anyone that was graduating that wanted to sell their books (from Brookhaven)? That first semester cost is going to be painful enough as it is.

I don't know if anyone as mentioned Barnes and Noble before, however, if you have a discount card with them (25.00 a year). They have up to 40% off on new hardbacks, this includes text books. I bought two of my nursing books for January there and have saved nearly $50.00 off the two. If you have your ISBN number you can make sure they are the exact book you need. I plan to buy all my text books there. I know I won't want used, because these are books I will be keeping forever.

I am in second semester and used the old edition books and did not have a problem. Page numbers are different and a some different information not much. You can also look at Half Price Books ( the one in McKinney and on Northwest Highway) I also got a large Majority of my books on line I would just Google the ISBN number. I also found some on ebay. Good luck

I've contacted both the bookstore and the nursing folk, to find out if an old edition is fine. I think they will be. :)

Good luck on the exit HESI. We will all be thinking about you. Some time soon we should take the Mid-term HESI we have not been told anything about the date just that it should be soon. I am sure that you will do great.
