Brookhaven Fall 2019

Published

Anyone applying for Fall 2019? I know it seems far away, but the application is due the end of Feb. It is best we begin to prepare now, especially those who need immunizations.

I need:

Critical thinking exam.

Retake Hesi for a higher competitive score.

Dosage calculations workshop.

I'm taking Chem 1405 and Phil 2306 this fall and Pharma in winter.

Hi All, I recently discovered this group. Best of luck to everyone! I received an interview invitation but I am panic struck. I’m having a baby Monday, the 1st and will be interviewing on Monday, the 8th. I’ve worked so hard for this though so I wasn’t willing to throw in the towel on account of my pregnancy. Does anyone know if the scheduled time is for the writing sample as well? Also, I’ve taken the first course through the TTUHSC concurrent enrollment program. I’m happy to help anyone that may have a question regarding the program.

Hi! I have a question for the concurrent enrollment program. I’m going to start taking the classes this summer. What course did you take, and was it doable? I ask because I’m considering taking both GNUR 4311 and GNUR 4381. I want to know if I’ll be able to manage both, and I do work full-time.

I’d really appreciate your input. Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I know I am probably getting ahead of myself, but I looked at the Fall schedule for the Fall19 semester and it looks like we can get an idea of what our 1st semester will look like. I'll being moving down to PRN in August or try to find a part time medical front office job. This is what I saw on the schedules:

RNSG 1413 - FRI 8-12

RNSG 1105- THURS 8-12 OR 1-5

RNSG 1362 MON or TUES or WEDS 7-7

Things may change closer to the start date but this gives an idea at least for anyone who needs to present a schedule to their current employers for scheduling purposes or for whatever.

Good to know that I'll need someone to take and pick up my daughter to and from school on clinical days since day cares do not usually open until 6:30 and close at 6:30 as well.

I wish we could get our schedules sooner so people can present them to their employer and/or make child care arrangements. But hey, I won't complain. I'm just happy to get accepted and hopeful that it will work itself out.

Dcccd Fall schedules.

Hey you guys.

The calculations course you took? Is the exam exactly like the practice ones? or different? Do you take the exam at the workshops?

The actual exam was very similar to the practice exams. Some of the questions were the same. Yes, you’ll take the exam on one of the 3 dates offered. You do not have to go to all 3. The first hour or so is for studying and for also the questions and then you take it. It’s all multiple choice.

Hey guys! I’m about to start second semester at Brookhaven so if y’all need help with anything or have any questions I would be happy to help!

I will be there tomorrow as well. I don't want to have to come back to the campus to retake it lol. I still have to get my meningitis shot but I have my titers for the others. I would call nursing advising to see when you need to have your shots exactly so you can stay on schedule before January.
