I know I'm a little early, but I'm anxious!!

Missed Spring '16 Deadline by ONE CLASS so I took the semester to get it together.

Anybody else prepping to start the application process in February?

Anybody else know the dates or have been to advising?? Talk to me people !!

So i have 32.99 points but I bombed the interview. Like I did very very horrible on the interview but pretty good on the writing sample. Do y'all think I'll get in?

You're totally in on points alone. We had some people that totally clammed up after both questions and some that barely spoke that made it in our class because of their high points. You can seriously stop stressing, you're all good.

I was just told by a BH advisor that for spring 2017 applicants, AP2 no longer counts for 3 points towards admission.

They are moving away from the SCIT courses and this is the first step. I sent an email yesterday requesting an updated ranking form that reflects the new requirements as it hasn't been updated online. I'm having to retake the HESI to remain competitive now that I'm down 3 points.

I believe 2402 does count. I hope you do too! The advisor also gave indication that it would be in my best interest to get in the spring 2017 program as he could not guarantee that all SCIT would be completely eliminated from the prerequisite...leaving only the biol courses as valid prerequisites. Which is why I have to score higher on my HESI! I really hope others hear of this and are not caught off guard when they submit their applications in September. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. It definitely concerns me and adds to the stress!

Here's to hoping we find out sooner than Friday and I really hope I get in this semester! I have the SCIT classes, which were the exact same as the BIOL (as half my class was SCIT and half BIOL). I'm gonna be praying and thinking happy thoughts until we find out. I really don't want to have to retake classes I've already taken just to have them listed differently on my transcript.

My birthday is Tuesday so it'd be awesome to get an acceptance letter that day. (Wishful thinking lol). Hopefully we'll know sooner.

Congratulations! Get with nurse2blisa and get a FB page ready, that is something we have all found really helpful this semester in keeping each other informed & getting to know one-another before the semester began.
