Would I have a good chance at getting accepted into Brookhaven if all of my pre req's are completed, but only 3 out of 8 of my support classes are complete?? And I havent taken the Hesi yet...Im also applying to Tarrant County College and Midwestern State University. I was just wanting some info as far as accepting students into Brookhaven/Mountain View.
I have all my courses complete except End of Life Issues. I have 14.2 points without HESI. I took the HESI today and got an 84. I did well on all the sections except the A&P Portion - I took those classes 7 years ago. So I guess I won't be getting in this time. I now have 23 points, so I guess I will try again in the fall - atleast I will have those extra 3 points.
I don't know maybe it's a sign and I should stay in grad school rather than becoming a nurse... but I want to be a nurse. It's just frustrating.
I think I got a 95 when I took it. I would say to aim anywhere above an 85. The higher your score, the better your chances. There is a HESI study guide you can get at the bookstore (the off-campus one is where I found it) that is really good.
I'm going to Brookhaven. How long did it take you to complete the pre-reqs/support classes and the nursing program? I have a bachelors already. I completed some pre-reqs already and want to try and graduate in 3 years? Do you think that is possible?

Can someone tell me what a good HESI score would be? I am knew to this site and may have missed it if someone has posted it previously. I did read that the lowest points that were accepted was 28 wow. I would love to talk to others that will be applying for the next application period.
Thanks
