  1. Just wanted to ask if anyone else is waiting to get their scrubs until after camp? I don't know anyone that has done the nursing program at Brookhaven and have no clue about what books to buy. It was my understanding that we would be told all of this at camp is that correct? Did I really read that we are going to have a reading assignment due before class begins? It sure would be nice to have A** email us a book list so that we could get started.
  2. Natalie, I had a 3.71 GPA with all support classes done, I applied with 33.58 points.
  3. Oh ok, sorry I don't much about this site.
  4. What happens when you get 15 posts?
  5. Holy cow Debbie you must have had a killer HESI score to have so many points and not be done with three classes. Kudos to you. I look forward to meeting you all.
  6. Hello Nicole, Would you mind telling me if you still have the book you used for your CPR course? I took CPR in 2007 in Wisconsin and still have the book. I called the bookstore at Brookhaven and she had me read her the ISBN number to her. She said it was the same book. I am just nervous because I can't remember if there were any forms that I had to take out of the book. I am just nervous that I will go to class and they will say that isn't the right book or I am missing a form or something. Thanks, Holly
  7. Thanks Nicole for the info that is awesome. My real name is Holly, not very original of me to use my real name huh? I look forward to meeting all of you.
  8. I just signed up for the CPR class today. It is on 4-17-10 from 8-5pm. You can call 972-860-4600 to register for the class once you register they will transfer you to the person that can take your payment. I will be there so if you come I look forward to meeting you.
  9. Does anyone know how much notice they give you before success camp? I have to take my CPR still but I just called and signed up. Do we start getting the physical now do you think?
  10. Yahoooooo I finally got in. Good luck to everyone else.
  11. Thanks for the update. I am crossing my fingers for us all.
  12. We should be hearing something soon. Good luck to everyone.
  13. Kasey, I didn't feel at all like you were trying to put down the class. I only said something because I had been told that the class was a pain in the buns. I know you were just talking about what you had heard. I hope we eased your mind about it.
  14. Just wanted to ease your mind about the End of Life class. We did have to visit a graveyard but you did where you wanted and when you wanted. You didn't have to go with anyone and the assignment ended up being interesting. I have to tell you I really wasn't looking forward to this class but if you go in with an open mind there actually is good that comes from this class. The volunteer time was an amazing experience for me and again it is based around your schedule. The presentation wasn't bad either. It wasn't as bad as I was lead to believe it would be. I hope you all get to get into the class and it stinks that it is so hard to get in.
  15. Wow that is crazy. Thanks for the update. You don't happen to know how many people applied do you?
