Thought I'd start a forum for those who are applying for Brookhaven's ADN program Fall 2018. Has anyone started on these particular things? --->

-HESI A2

-online nursing information session

-critical thinking exam

-dosage calculations class

Thanks I am studying daily. I was at a basketball game last night and my niece was like you answering questions on an app instead of watching this good game. Sorry couldn't help myselfor. I am just stressing so much. I actually been going over A&P since 3pm ans just now decided to take a break. That is the subject that scares me most when retaking to HESI!

I too retook my critical thinking. Last semester I got a total of 11.1 points for it and this semester I did worse on it. Am applying with 10.5 for critical thinking points. Total of 33.93. Not happy about it.

How many points are you applying with this application cycle?

I will be applying with 36.13 points this application period! Last semester I asked Barbara what was the average cutoff of accepting applicants for interviews and she said 34/35. The semester before that was 33. So I'm only assuming it might jump a little higher for this term í ½í¸© but since they accept more applicants this spring period, I'm hoping it'll be good enough. Wbu?

Hi everyone! Im a little late to the 'party' and after reading all your comments, I am also a little nervous! I just applied for Fall 2018 at Brookhaven with 35.2 points. I thought I was in good standing but it seems like Brookhaven has raised the bar in order to qualify for an interview status! Good luck to everyone and I hope to hear back from you!

You get accepted if you have the requirements for brookhaven and also the requirements for Texas Tech and you get accepted. The down side to the Texas tech class is that it is about $1500 for one class. It's insane.

And do those students count toward the number accepted if they automatically are accepted.

I actually don't know. My friend said she talked to someone in the nursing office and they set aside spots for Texas tech applicants and then the ones who get accepted through the main process.
