Thought I'd start a forum for those who are applying for Brookhaven's ADN program Fall 2018. Has anyone started on these particular things? --->

-prerequisites

-HESI A2

-online nursing information session

-critical thinking exam

-dosage calculations class

Turned my application in today!! Thank goodness that part is over. Here's to all the positive vibes and hoping we all get in. Good luck to everyone testing and re testing. Go with your gut. Don't second guess your answer. Be confident!! You can do this!!

I saw you had applied last semester (me too). Did you re-do your physical? I'm wondering if I can turn in the one from last August. I know they told me last year that my titers would all be valid to apply this semester.

I didn't redo anything. I just brought my immunization records to the nurse and she signed the form.

Hello everyone! My name is Alicia Peña and I applied last semester with 31.2 points. I hope to make it this year. I will be taking critical thinking today and hopefully I can make it by 3 to submit my application! 🙂 good luck to all!

How many points did you apply with this round. I am hoping to have at least have 36 or 37 points. Let's just pray and I am having to learn not to second guess myself. Praying that I will do good on my HESI Friday I just need like two extra points from last HESI but of course I wouldn't scoring higher than just the two extra points lol

Definitely Good Luck to all of us. We all know what each of us is going through. This has been the longest process I have ever gone through. I will 100% appreciate the process of Nursing School and my career once I am in a program because I will forever remember what it took just to get to that point.

I look to be applying with just 34.33 points. I had to redo my HESI that was a 90 and only got 86.8. How many points is everyone else applying with?

Why did you have to redo your HESI at 90 is a good score? Currently I have 34.04 that what I applied with last round.

It was just over 2 years old. The fist time I took it right after I finished A&P.

This go round I had 38.56! Good luck on your HESI! I'm sure you'll do awesome!

This will be my first time applying. I want to share my experience with the current and future applicants. If you get 10 points or more on the critical thinking exam, think very carefully about retaking. I say this because I decided to retake mines and brought my what could have been 37 points to a 34. Something because I did worse than better on the CT
