Brookhaven College Nursing Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Thought I'd start a forum for those who are applying for Brookhaven's ADN program Fall 2018. Has anyone started on these particular things? --->

-prerequisites

-HESI A2

-online nursing information session

-critical thinking exam

-dosage calculations class

I look forward to talking to those who are going to be applying. Hope to hear from you soon!!!

not sure if anyone is still checking this but its worth a shot. Can anyone tell me how to register for the hesi?

It is not currently open at Brookhaven. It usually opens about a month before you can apply for that semester. But you can take it at anywhere it is given, just be sure to get the sections needed from the school(s) you intend to apply for.

Do I have to physically register at Brookhaven for it when it opens or can I register online?

Yes you have to physically register. The morning it opened I went to pay first get the receipt then go to the testing center show receipt then they allow you to schedule the date & time for the HESI. This is for Brookhaven only other schools are different.

Also get your blood titers done early. I recently just a few years ago had the shots, thought mine would be good but needed a couple boosters. Some take months to get all the boosters and a few people it delayed applying to nursing school another application period.

oh you know I will!! Thank you for your help!!

Hello all, I'm taking A&P I & II this Fall and was hoping anyone may have a copy of the textbook for sale?

Please let me know if you have it and are willing to sell.

Thank you!

Hi all! Not sure if anyone still looks at this forum but when studying for the HESI did you utilize the two comprehensive practice exams on the Evolve (Elsevier) website that came with the Edition 4 study book? If so, how did that compare to the "real" HESI please?
