Hello everybody! I will FINALLY be applying for Brookhaven for the Spring 2020 entrance. I have watched previous forums to see what to expect and I'm excited but nervous. Are there any students here enrolled in the concurrent enrollment through Brookhaven and Texas Tech? I hope to hear more from you guys as we go through this process!

I just signed up for the class today so I haven't gone yet probably next week. I’ve heard its not that bad just simple stuff.

Nvm! I found it! Lol anybody got most of their points together?

You can take the Hesi at any school that offers it for the MVC&BHC. I also applied fall 2019 for both programs and did not get accepted. I took my Hesi at UTA and I asked if the Hesi exam will be accepted again for any school in spring 2020 and MVC SD said yes. Hope this helps. I will be retaking at UTA in June.

I was starting to get concerned. The posts were getting a little dry on replies! ? Yeah I was told the same thing that even though I took my HESI at MVC but outside BHC testing period, I could still use my scores. I think it applies if you take the HESI specifically at Brookhaven or at Mountain View. I think they should be a little more clear about that. @Nikkiguz19 how are you doing on your end for completing everything?

Yeah they need to clarify the Hesi testing. I got overwhelmed not being accepted for Fall 19 but I am rooting for Spring 20! But I have my application done already besides my Hesi score. I'm hoping to get a 90 and that will put me at 23 pts. With MVC and 33 with BHC. Is our time to get accepted. But I hear they accept more students in the spring than Fall. How is your application going???

I thought it was usually the reverse. I see BHC accepts 40 in the Spring (60 in Fall) and MVC I'm not sure how many they accept but I'm thinking less than Spring 2019. Well as it stands I'm sitting around 29-30 points at BHC and 17 at MVC (Given I retake AP1 and algebra) so that's where I sit so far.

How many points did you have for Fall 2019?

Is completion of the support courses required prior to applying?
You only need to have the four prereqs (BIOL 2401, CHEM 1405, ENGL 1301 and PSYC 2314) completed with a 3.0 to apply. However any support courses you have completed can help boost your score.
