Hi!! I applied to the nursing program in October, and I already feel like it is driving me crazy to wait to find out if I'm in! My name is Chrissie, I'm a mom of four, and so excited to hopefully follow my dream of being a nurse. I applied for the ehealth option, but I know that those spots are limited, I just hope I get into the program one way or another. I think the application window ends in January, so I'm hoping to find out sometime in February. How will I know if I'm accepted? Is the criteria for getting in pretty much just GPA and your TEAS score? Thank you for starting this thread!
Hi Chrissie! Welcome!
In past years we have found out mid to late February or early March. Traditional acceptance seems to come out a few days later than eHealth, which sounds like torture!
If you want to check it out, here is the page for the current 1st and 2nd years respectively
Most people find out they are accepted by checking DegreeWorks and then receive their acceptance packet a few days later, but without fail they come here to spread the news!
Criteria to get in was explained to me as a check box system. If you have your pre-requisite classes done✔️ TEAS ✔️ Heath science info session ✔️
Then they go by GPA and when you applied to fill seats. People will decline for their own personal reasons, and more seats open up until about a week before classes (at least in my year)
Good luck! I am around a lot so ask anything here, or you can click my name and message me directly if you like that better. (As mentioned in the intro above I'm a second year student)
Hmmm, I tried to message you directly but it won’t let me!
You might need to have had an account for a week or two. I just tried messaging you to see if that works

Hey all.
My name is Travis, also anxiously awaiting the 2022 acceptance / rejection letters
But now I have a new worry to keep me occupied alongside this one: orientation.
From the slight (okay maybe intense) sleuthing I’ve done on the topic, the date May 13th showed up for one of the previous years.
Anyone know what / when orientation consists of? I’m supposed to be getting married / going on my honeymoon for the second and third weeks of May, and figured I ought to get ready to maybe have to book a flight home just to attend a day session thing. I hope not, but, what can you do.
Good luck to everyone! Here’s to starting our difficult journey.

Hi Travis, welcome!
My orientation was on zoom in early June. But this was 2 years ago. I believe last year was also on zoom
Also congrats on the wedding! ❤
Thank you!
I also received an email this morning saying that my application was incomplete, missing the health info seminar.
Except that I attended the first one offered in September, 9/14 to be exact, and apparently it didn’t mark me as having attended.
I sent an email back to the admissions office this morning, it being MLK jr day I know I won’t hear back until tomorrow at the very earliest, but this is stress inducing
All I really have for “proof” that I attended this was the confirmation email with zoom passwords from ---------, and my notes that I took. I vividly remember having to click on a link for the attendance to be counted at the end of the session.
I emailed -------- too, hopefully this get’s sorted out and doesn’t affect my application date, as I applied at the beginning of October to be on time.
This is gonna be a ride haha
Oh I love --------. I'm sure she can help sort this out for you.
Good luck
