Hi all,
I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2022. Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc.
As a student expecting to graduate from the program this Summer feel free to reach out with any questions and I will do my best to answer them or refer you to the proper channels ?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for any info!
Hi, and congratulations!! Yes, I'm in the eHealth program. We are given lectures via power point and voice threads every week to do on our own time. Exams are on Monday mornings at 8, and I think there are about 7 exams during the semester. As for labs and clinicals, we don't find out what our days are until just before or right at the start of the semester. Expect to spend one day of the week in either a clinical setting or in the lab setting, and there are typically assignments to complete before and/or after. You are more than welcome to e-mail me and I'll give you my number to text me if you have questions! [email protected]
kelly p said:Thank you for getting back to me! Do you know if the clinical/ lab be on the weekend? The Monday exams are okay, I could just go to work later. I also just have to take the core nursing courses, all my prereqs were taken to align w the program already
Yes, they can be on the weekends also. I'm in clinicals on Saturdays this semester for OB, but also have some Tuesdays that I have to be in lab. I also am only taking the core nursing courses, as I completed my prerequisites before the program start.

I know I have to pass a 10 panel before July 1st for my fall 23 admission. Following a negative result, how many times were you randomly retested after that in your 2 years of the program?
What's more important, becoming a nurse or enjoying the occasional substance?
Good Luck.

Thanks for the judgement! Actually it's because I suffer from almost debilitating paruresis. I can pass a drug test with no problem, thank you. I ask because if I have to do it every month it may not be the best on top of everything else for my mental health.

Medications you are prescribed can be written off. I am on PRN esgic/fiorcet for migraines which has barbiturates in it and with proof of a RX it was fine. A friend was on adderall

Only once so far. I'm going into second year. I will say that marijuana is not accepted no matter the circumstances. They stated that very openly at our orientation.

Are you sure you are picking the right career path with that judgement? Sad.
