Hi all,
I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2022. Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc.
As a student expecting to graduate from the program this Summer feel free to reach out with any questions and I will do my best to answer them or refer you to the proper channels ?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Chloe I think it means that your second choice of ehealth is being reviewed. But there is no wait list information. I'm wondering if they pick the waitlist after all seats are filled and all options are exhausted? The best thing would be to call them to clarify if they are still choosing ehealth and how the wait list works. Also genna in admissions is the best person to talk to. If you don't get in set up an advising meeting with her and ask what you should do to be more competitive. I know you said you had one B. She told me a B can drop your GPA enough to make your GPA not competitive. I had to retake my math and chem because it would be 5 years old and she said my chem was originally a B if I applied with that grade I most likely wouldn't get in. So I retook it and got an A that might be your best option and research professors on rate my professors before you sign up to make sure you have the best chance at getting an A. Still Praying for you ? ❤️

Yeah I’m gonna call them and I got a B in English which is 3 credits I got all A’s in my other classes like not even A- all A’s. I seen from prior years people with lower GPAs than me get into ehealth. I hope that traditional is just more competitive because people like to be in person for nursing. I’m praying and I will call them at 8am tomorrow. Also thank you sm for replying and the information. I cried sm when I found out I didn’t get in even the nurses I work with that went to BCC are like wait what how didn’t you get in with 1 B?

Unfortunately that happens! I had 1 B (math) also and I didn't in. I retook it over the Summer and got an A and I got in the following year. BCC is super competitive. It's very hard to get in, also very hard to stay in... you've got this though! I have faith!

I emailed the dean of admissions and spoke to admissions and the lady said I should’ve gotten in and it was a mistake
omgggg so are they going to take you?!?!

That is amazing news tbh. Hopefully that means you will be put first on waitlist to get in immediately when someone declines?
