Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2021

Published

Hi all,

I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2021. How are things going for everyone in the current climate? Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc. Former/current students, do you have any insight to share?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi @kali013! I am currently in my first semester of the program. COVID is making school hard but we are fighting together as a team. My current classmates are really great about supporting each other.

Did you apply to eHealth or Traditional?

Here is a link to our chat from last year!

Hi,

Thank you for sending that link. That's really encouraging to read. I can't imagine how complicated Covid has made everything for your first semester. I applied to the eHealth option. I wish there was a way to get a decision soon but it'll take some time.

@Kali013 Glad it helped! I am also eHealth, feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions :)

Hey I’m so happy someone started a thread! I applied for traditional in early October. This is my second time applying, I re took a couple classes to try for a better GPA! Good luck,  and I look forward to keeping up with this! Fingers crossed we meet in the fall.

This is also my second time applying for the traditional nursing program - I retook some courses to better my GPA and just completed my TEAS test. Fingers crossed!

Hi!

I also applied in early October for the traditional program. Fingers crossed!! Taking Chemistry and Math 125  this semester. First time applying to BCCs Nursing program. Graduated in May with a General Studies degree in Health and Life Sciences.  Good luck to everyone who is applying!!

Hi

I applied on October 1st, I am already an LPN that graduated 10 years ago from Diman but now I have decided to proceed to get my ADN. I already have an associate degree in science. All I need is the nursing courses so I am praying I get in. I didn't apply for the LPN bridge program. I applied for the traditional nursing program because I felt I needed a refresher. I already took the TEAS and all my preadmission course now I am patiently waiting. Good luck to everyone. What is everyone current predmission GPA?

Hi. Final grades  just posted for my Math and Chemistry classes that I needed for pre admissions and my advisor said my GPA is now a 3.93. I have everything else completed now. Fingers crossed I get accepted!

Yes I hope all goes well! I just wish the wait didn’t have to be that long. It’s torturous ?

The wait is the worst. I applied to Massasoit last year and got waitlisted. It was awful and so disappointing! ?

It sooooo hard to get into Massasoit. I’m really hoping to get into this program.
