I wanted to know of anyone looking into the Bristol Community College nursing program or who is currently in it or was in it.
I am still taking the competitive pre-req courses right now to be able to apply to the Fall 2011 nursing program for Bristol Community College in Massachusetts. I currently have a 4.0 GPA.
After this semester, I just need to take A&P II (summer class) and Microbiology (Fall class). After that, all of the courses I need for the nursing program are complete except for the actual nursing classes.
If I get accepted into the BCC program for the Fall 2011 class, will I only be able to take 1 nursing class/semester so it's an additional two years from Fall 2011?
I'm paying my acceptance fee on the 25th. I want to actually bring it in to make sure it doesn't arrive later than the first. does anyone know who I would bring the payment to?

sounds like a plan. I think that BCC offers it. Hopefully we can all take the class together.
They do offer it.. If you go to bristolcc.edu and then click "Noncredit course search" then summer 2011: health care.. you can scroll down and see the dates. It's $65 which you pay at student accounts when you go to the enrollment center to enroll in the class. The dates are: 06/09 @ 6-10pm; 07/14 @ 6-10pm; 06/18 @ 9-1pm; 07/23 @ 9-1pm; 08/11 @ 6-10pm; 08/20 @ 9-1pm. And there is a book at the bookstore you'll need to purchase too I think for it.

CONGRATS to EVERYONE who got in! I have a friend who also was accepted to BCC Nursing Program and she called me SCREAMING..lol....SOOOOOOO happy for her!
I know, I can't wait to meet all of you also. Let's get together as soon as we have are welcome packages. I spoke to the nursing department today and they said the packages should be sent out the end of this month/ beginning of next!
