That's a good point Redpanda about the drug screen!

Last year they blocked both days because of the drug test. You are either scheduled for Thur or Fri. So just in case you have to go get your test on Friday, I'd keep the 4th open. We were basically told day/time/location when we went to orientation that Thursday. Some people didn't realize because it wasn't really clear in the letter and had other commitments and only had Thurs blocked but had drug test on Fri.

Hi nurs2014-There is a reading list that they'll give you during the summer/winter break and while it's not mandatory reading it's definitely recommended. And there aren't clinicals on holiday breaks or during the summer. We will definitely have to meet at orientation.If anyone is on Facebook, let me know and I'll set up a private page so we can chat via there especially when we are in class and may have any questions.

Congrats nurs2014! On Friday, the office said they were going out tomorrow - we shall see!! I know they said orientation is either end of April or first week in May.

I'm sure you should be all set since you paid through Student Accts and have all of the confirmation info.May I ask -- did you pay with a debit card or were you able to give them your routing information? The reason I ask is I was going to get a bank check cut tomorrow and would rather just pay over the phone.

Anyone can determine for themselves what "immediately" means depending on their financial situations. Im sure people will opt to get it in as soon as they possibly can to hold their slots. And the school must start calling people of they haven't received within a certain time frame.

I'm assuming the packets will go out once they get back the deposit and the slips to know who has accepted and who hasn't. I'm surprised they didn't put a deadline on there just so people knew exactly when they needed to have everything in and if they didn't then they would move onto the waiting list.
