Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2021

Hi all,

I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2021. How are things going for everyone in the current climate? Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc. Former/current students, do you have any insight to share?

We found out super late this year. The past years their degree works changed by 12 . For whatever reason they made decisions at the end of the week and late in the day! Good luck!! Hope you hear something soon!

Thank you so much ! I guess I will keep checking every few hours LOL. I got a call last week from someone in the nursing program asking if I had any affiliation with charlton memorial hospital & I said no but she wouldn’t tell me what it was about just a question they had to ask I’m hoping because I’m a nurse they want to make sure I don’t work there because of clinicals but I have been extremely nervous ever since & when I asked about decisions she said within the next week & today makes exactly a week she called ?

Yes I graduated from Diman since 2013 so I needed a good review because things definitely changed since then! Goo luck

If you are talking about community foundation scholarships last year we heard in August ?

My friend Sam who also applied to the bridge this year got the same phone call! We have been trying to figure out why haha

Glad I wasn’t the only one LOL I don’t know anyone applying for the bridge program so I’ve been going crazy since ! I’m assuming hit has to be clinical related

I got the email today, I was accepted into the bridge program ! My degree works hasn’t changed at all though. So before opening the email I was convinced it was a rejection letter LOL !

@whalestales can you tell me how much all your books came out to for first year? Because I got the diversified nursing scholarship, but I also don't want to take out the 5k in loans they offered me. Do you think an $1100 would be enough?
