Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2021

Hi all,

I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2021. How are things going for everyone in the current climate? Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc. Former/current students, do you have any insight to share?

Awesome I'm in New Bedford we can meet anywhere and ill bring them. Also I'm taking the final next Tuesday at BCC if you want to stop by then I can bring them with me as well.

 

I also have a friend who want to give out hers for free as well if anyone wants them. And her uniform as well.

Random question,  I mean I’m going into 2nd year,  but what size are the scrubs?

I’m not sure who had the XL size,  but mine fit HORRIBLY.  Cause I gained weight,  and I dread buying more ?? unless there’s a 1st year who truly needs them more which is absolutely fine LOL I wanna try and just loose weight but yah

I feel you I actually only wore these my first year I had to buy bigger ones for second year LOL but I bought them on amazon and they didn't have the school logo thankfully my clinical professors didn't notice or didn't care LOL. I didn't want to pay extra?

Is it me or is this entire process getting nerve racking? I’m super nervous. What gets me the most is not knowing our clincal/schedule  hours until the first day of school

Who says you won’t know till first day?  You find out this Summer,  we got ours end of July ish.

That what she said during orientation. Clinicals could be on any day Tuesday-Sundays

Correct,  but you will find out before the 1st day of class.

Hi all,

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to pose some questions to the current/former students when it came to working during the program. Were you able to work part time, per diem or in any capacity while attending classes? Would you have any advice to share or expectations for incoming students if you worked and were e-health or traditional?
