Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2021

Hi all,

I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2021. How are things going for everyone in the current climate? Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc. Former/current students, do you have any insight to share?

Nope! We are all being tortured together ?? 

 

I just got my last PPD test today, and then Friday I can have my papers sent over. A few of the other ladies have sent theirs over already as well.

Hey ladies yes I spoke to one of the counselors today because I was super confused about the entire process! She said once they receive everyone deposit they will start emailing people and getting ready for orientation! They can’t do that until May 3! I just ordered my foundation book on Amazon it’s on sale for 130$ brand new! Where do we get the forms necessary for the immunization and where do we send it?

They have the nursing handbook on the bcc page! I printed out the health forms & went to the Dr . Wow that's awesome!! I have a fundamentals book I'm just not sure they are the same. It's from 2 years ago

How did you know which book to buy? And it’s a 2 book bundle for fundamentals.

I went BCC and look at the fall 21 schedule amd went on the bcc bookstore online and type the book number on Amazon and got the 2 sets for 130

The book list isn’t posted yet though..  I looked today for Vicky,  and my list also isn’t there yet for 201.  What book did you buy? Because the fundamentals set I have isn’t $130 on Amazon.  I just want to make sure your buying the right thing.

This is the correct book.  The isbn doesn’t match my fundamental book from fall.  Unless they change it when they post the list,  but they just changed the book series last fall.

Be careful buying things before an actual book list is posted. Anything can change at any time for books or requirements.

Hey guys quick question! I have already put in my deposit and I have all of my health papers. Who do I send the health papers to or do I wait until orientation?

Also did anyone get that CSI email yet to register for your CORI yet, because I have not!

You won’t receive your cori email yet..  not till it gets closer.  also,  the health papers go to [email protected]

Hey guys, not sure if these are the exact books you will be needing for the fall but if anyone wants these they're available for free. Let me know:)

ps: I also have the nursing diagnostics book not pictured here.
