I take sandwiches in a small 'cool' bag.the freezer gel packs in it keep the sandwiches cold for about 6 hours.

Ya, those reusable freezer gel packs are nice for when you want to keep things cold. They're fairly inexpensive too. I bought some at Wal-Mart for about $1 each.

Hi,

I make a salad the night before and take a can of tuna to add & yogurt & fruit.

I keep it all in my insulated lunch box that has a freezer gel pack in it. I keep several in the freezer at home and rotate them daily.

I also have a small box which contains low fat cookies in my bag, I limit myself to one a day! (chuckle)

Once you start making & taking your lunch, you will be amazed at the money you save!

I take leftovers from dinner or special lunches...I try hard to stay out of the cafe. I have fridge access but the small blue packs work well.

Make your lunch the night before and put it in the refrig. It helps cool the entire lunch down. (Alos if you put cold pop in the cooler that will help add thermal mass which will keep your food colder.)
