And people wonder why there is so little sympathy for RNs who are striking and complain they aren't paid enough. They are literally in the top 5% of the earners in the country.

My question is, why do you hang around here bashing everything nursing when you aren't even a nurse? PA must be a boring job.
I am *NOT* a PA. I am more nursing experience then most people here!
Really? Your March 9th post indicates that you are now a PA. Not so?
How do you have more nursing experience than all of us? And are you going to answer why you have nothing better to do than harp on the nursing profession?

Nope, I am *definitely not* a PA. You misread my post.

They are also striking for safe staffing ratios.
Why are you against this? Good for them.

Then why aren't they only demanding better staffing levels instead of more and more money with staffing a distant third?

Because it is their right to ask for whatever they want to. It doesn't mean they will get everything they ask for. Strikes are about negotiations and compromise. They may be willing to forgo salary increases for better ratios.
In this case it's about the greedy being greedier.
