friends thanx for your help! got my 456 already. guess ill be leaving this week.
which hospital/ school are you going to study? Is the 456 is the business short stay visa? Is it true that if u were in the 456 u coudn't apply for another visa while you were in Australia?
I have a letter from AHPRA and waiting for school/hosp. COE... I am just curious about the conditions of 456 visa..
Many thanks...
im a newbie and found a home here reading all the great infos esp getting an rn job in australia after the bridging program.
have met local agency handling acfe here, and indeed this service is a welcome reprieve for all of us that continue to chase the elusive dream....
at any rate, ive read some members are already enrolled in their 1st batch, kindly share the experiences from start or current status (in australia).. did anyone go their without availing of the whole package? example, leaving with relatives instead of the offerred accomodation? they advise me against it as later on regional hospital duties will move them away from acfe, and stated they are better as a group, staying together.
i was comparing expenses via the agency vs individual [processing and im concluding there is only a slight variation as all expenses including the visa, amounts anywhere php 600k~720k.can anyone expound on actual individual expenses incurred without agency help?
maybe this 3rd question is for others who have successfully completed the bridging program, and found jobs immediately after the program? can anybody share their experiences, did they go home and waited back here in the philippines, and later received job offers, and later on employment? the agency offerred in their contract that the job placement will be included already while undergoing the iron program...
the local agency stipulates the contracts below:
- an application to the australian nursing and midwifery board (nmba) for the purpose of having their overseas nursing/midwifery qualification assessed.
- enrolment into the program based melbourne or another australian state or territory, if required.
- an application for a visa via a registered australian migration agent that will allow participant travel to australia, for the purposes of attending the program.
- an application for a visa via a registered australian migration agent upon successful completion of the program that will allow the participant accept employment and remain in australia in accordance with the employment offer and employer sponsorship conditions. this is subject to the participant passing the program and meeting the conditions stipulated by the department of immigration & citizenship. australia.
