Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)
hi qymburlee!!I'm a newbie here :) I am currently taking up the assessment of competence program here in ACoN Burwood..I am really enjoying it; however, I'm still anxious about the coming clinical placement. If you could kindly give me some tips, that would be awesome!! :) also, tomorrow, we'll be doing the "clinical skills"..any tips? :) i hope we can meet each other :)
Hi xoxoserrahxoxo
I had problems with my visa the last couple of months because of ACN/CONs registration that's why I was moved for the May 2013 intake. Just got my visa today. It took me 3 months to get a visa. :) I'm looking forward in meeting you when I get there. Maybe you're the one who can give us tips re: the bridging course in CON. :) I'm pretty sure you'll do great in the clinical placement.
just yesterday... and i really want to go there! but some people are telling me that i dont have much tym to preapare for it. wat do u tink?
For May intake? The intake will be on the 31st, right? I think you still have time to work on it if you will start right away. I haven't been on that visa process but as what I've heard 1 month is enough for the processing. Where are you from?

Hi jb_101!
Sorry I couldn't send a private message so I am posting my reply instead. Yes I am for the May Intake for ACN. Actually, I was supposed to be for April Intake but due to the issue of the immigration and ACN I was moved to the next intake which is May. Did you have the same problem?
As for the visa, I am with the agency that you mentioned in your message and my visitors visa 600 (business stream) was lodged last friday. But oddly, I haven't received any text message from the embassy that they received my application.
Anyway, for the AFP name check. I was checking the online application and there was a part where I needed to fill up the details on "Contact Number" and Australian Drivers License Number and I couldn't move on to the next because I placed my Number in the Philippines. How is that?
Thanks!
