Bridging Program in Australia

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

Hi, I am new here. Can anyone give some insights regarding the questions being ask during the pre-admission interview in Monash University? I'm eyeing for their April Intake, and my interview is scheduled tomorrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi! Is there anyone going for IHNA Perth May intake? For subclass 600 business stream, we need to get a multiple entry visa, so what should be written in the dates of visa form? It is question 1--> when do you wish to visit Australia? In starting date we write a date 2-3 days before the course starts but what should be written in till what date column? Prompt reply will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

no we're not. We've got a sponsorship from a hospital. By the way, may I ask if you're done with your visa application? And how long will it take to process. Thank you

Hi. You just put in the dates of your course. It is up to the embassy to grant you multiple entry. Thanks

I already received my LOE from AHPRA and scheduled for monash interview on march 1. Any idea what questions they may give? I was advised to study anatomy physiology post op and pharma. Jeez.

Hello, how's the interview?

Hi I would be very interested to hear from any past students that have done the bridging course for overseas trained registered nurses with INHA.

Iwill be doing a bridging course shortly and I currently deciding what school to use for training. We would like to hear how your experience was and if you would recommend INHA to other students. Please feel free to private message me [email protected] Thanks

Hello! i am nee here in allnurses site. I am joining the melbourne March intake Iron program (inha). I am from phil but currently residing in Au. About the health insurance. I think bupa is the cheapest for international students.

Hi Emcee :) how was your IHNA experience? I am really confused what school to go to

I don't think that there is a major impact if you graduated from ETEA or any major universities or schools that offer a bridging program here in Australia. For instance, I finished my BP in IHNA and I was only lucky to be sponsored for a working visa through a friend's referral. Some of my classmates were able to find job based on the experience they have gained as an RN, but even with extensive qualifications some of my classmates opted to wait for their PR approval since they are not that lucky to secure a job.

It would matter if you'll be able to get a student visa instead of a visitor's visa for your BP. Try searching for school that advise students to come to australia with that visa, usually they are universities. The benefits include 20 hours fortnight working rights which is an aid to cover up your expenses after bridging. To be able to extend your time here in Oz while waiting for a permanent working opportunities and a stable visa (working or PR).

All the best. :-)

how was your IHNA experience Jackelyne? can you recommend it to other students? I am eyeing for their may intake in PErth

Hi! Anyone doing the BP in IHNA melbourne this April 2016?

Hi,

Are you pursuing your IHNA April intake? Will you be staying in their free accommodation or are you planning/have found a place to rent already?

Thanks
