Bridging Program in Australia

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

sent my ahpra application and they confirmed receipt and started assessment last january 6. how long will they take for the entire process to complete? i was hoping to join monash university april intake.

Hi, my assessment started last January 5, 2015 and I received the assessment outcome last January 29 or 24 calendar days. Good luck!

Hi! usually in 3 weeks you will receive a reply about your assessment and another 3 weeks with the board, then you will receive your final result. Ifyou are interested to join the April intake, its best to prepare your immunization requirements early as this takes time. Goodluck!

Hi everyone! I'm a new member here and I hope you can help me. I don't have a school yet but hopefully a school accepting for the first quarter of 2016. I also already have the referral letter from AHPRA to do the bridging. I would just like to ask what is the best type of visa I should apply for the bridging program? hopefully a visa with a long duration of stay.

thank you.

Hi! I suggest you try select a school first before worrying for the visa. Usually the school will recommend you for the type of visa they require. Goodluck! I am joining Monash University April intake 2016.

Hi, planning to enroll at ETEA, June intake. Any reviews?

Hi! I am not sure with ETEA but most visa used for bridging program is tourist visa SC600. Good luck!

Hi! I just got an eligibility letter and is looking also for a school that could grant a student visa.. ive heard that they should be cricos registered but unfortunately not all cricos accredited schools for tthe bridging program includes the iron program under cricos. I know that deakin grants student visa but their only intake will be this may already, and im afraid the time i have to apply and prepare the funds is too short. does anyone have any idea on schools with an iron program under cricos, who grants student visa and has more intake dates? Thanks!

Good day. I am new here. Can i ask everybody's opinion about my case because im very interested in working in AU. Im 28 years old a registered nurse from the Philippines started working since 2009 as an emergency room nurse and at present i am based here in dubai uae as an emergency room nurse still since 2014. Hi everyone! Just received my LOE from AHPRA after a long wait. I'm eyeing May intake of IHNA Perth campus. They're offering free accomodation till June and duration of course is also just 9 weeks. Moreover, fee is also $10,990. Is anyone planning to take the course at the same time as me? I'll be happy to have a companion. The feedback from members is welcome. I intend to know the pros and cons of doing bridging course at IHNA Perth. Thanks in advance!

Hi! Anyone doing the BP in IHNA melbourne this April 2016?

Hi! Just read that you are for april intake in monash. Im still trying to get into the same batch. Do you have an offer letter already? Im still completing my immunizations but done with the interviews already. I have more questions. Will you mind if we contact each other? It will be great to know someone already in the program.
