Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)
Hi,Are you pursuing your IHNA April intake? Will you be staying in their free accommodation or are you planning/have found a place to rent already?
Thanks
Hi there,
Yes, i have confirmed with IHNA and classes would start on the 18th of April.
I won't be staying on their free accomodation. I am staying in St Kilda.
Cheers!
Hi. Has anyone taken IRON program with Health Careers International? What's the difference between IELTS and PTE? I was told PTE is easier.
Hope to hear from someone soon.
PTE is the easiest among the recognized English exams. It's the cheapest as well. It's a computer-based exam. It's like IELTS in different format. You will be in front of the computer without any test examiner. You can get the results the next day. A lot of review materials are available over the Internet especially YouTube. It will help a lot for your preparation.
Hi DarlingRN08,so you've been accepted at Deakin for the IRON? How much is the fee? I sent inquiry few weeks ago, didnt get a response.
Hi. What I did was, I applied right away. I filled out the application form and emailed it to the nursing dept. You can find the email address at the return to practice/initial registration page on their website. I sent the form together with the other requirements such as ahpra letter, english req etc (this info is also on the same web page) just make sure you send all the requirements they ask because you will not be assessed if it is incomplete. Fee is about 13k+ aud
