I applied in early Dec. and decided to to retake the TEAS test before sending it for review. Form what I understand it takes anywhere from 2 weeks - 2 months to get accepted or not. Past experience has said more like the 2 months is the norm. I should be getting my results from the TEAS test today and it will be promptly moved to review next week (1/19/15). I will confirm the date when it actually gets sent.
That is good that you applied to other schools just in case. 3.6 is really good though so I am sure you well get into one of them with that gpa. Plus you have experience at Yale which is awesome! BHSN is my first choice too. Hopefully we both get in!
I hope we both do too ! I heard that they sometimes put up the additional requirement for people they accept i guess I shouldn't base it on what's listed. Good luck to you
Thanks!...Yeah, I have read so many different things about what they change on your soniweb if you get accepted. Best option is to just wait for the letter. Keep us posted!
Chrisd890 I would not worry too much. Bhsn admin office seems to get overwhelmed and are not consistent on updating accounts. I read in the other threads of people being accepted and their status didn't even change from under review. On a side note, you are in a great position because you are working in the field especially a hospital. Getting a job once we are rn is probably as hard as getting into a program. I have no letter yet. We will see this weekend..
I hope so its my second time applying since they I finished a&p 2 and chem so we'll see. I feel like they don't care where you work idk they pick and choose I'm just glad I applied to other programs as well.
Hey everyone, I just got the notice that St. Vincents is reviewing my application and I should know in a few weeks. So, I have applied to NVCC, (backup Norwalk) St. Vincents, and BHSN. Man I hope one comes through! Anyone else apply to other places?
