Bridgeport hospital school of nursing fall 2015

I'm looking for anyone who is applying to this school this year. Please let us know when you applied and any progress you make to getting accepted. Good luck to everyone!

I applied in early Dec. and decided to to retake the TEAS test before sending it for review. Form what I understand it takes anywhere from 2 weeks - 2 months to get accepted or not. Past experience has said more like the 2 months is the norm. I should be getting my results from the TEAS test today and it will be promptly moved to review next week (1/19/15). I will confirm the date when it actually gets sent.

I will update any progress as I get it.

Thanks for the encouragement. Do you have the TEAS study book from ATI? that was the most useful book to get. DO NOT take the TEAS prep-class. I found it to be a waist of money.

Don't worry more than you have to about the test. If you worry about that a lot just remember that all that extra stress does not change the fact the test is still going to be waiting for you. Re-focus and get at it. Good luck - and let me know how you did!

Yes, I have the study guide. I don't think the questions are hard, it's more of a time management issue. I ran out of time and blindly answered questions just so I wouldn't leave them blank.

I'm mainly stressing because I want to show that I can do better, but what if I don't? Thanks so much for the encouragement as well and for the luck. Let us know as soon as you get your letter! :)

Hi Everyone! I have been reading a ton of threads reagarding Bridgeport's nursing program and the application process. I finally decided to registers and join the convo. The waiting is DRIVING ME CRAZY. My application went under review on 12/10/15 and I have heard nothing so far. I am starting to get really nervous. I want to get in sooo bad! I hope to hear something soon. I tried emailing the school about how long the review process takes and no one ever got back to me. Has anyone been accepted yet?

fasten your seat belt it tends to be a long ride. Very few students have been accepted according to the admissions coordinator. They meet only a few times a month to go over applications. I'll keep you posted on anything I hear. Good luck!

Haha thanks for the advice! I can see how it can take awhile if they only meet a couple times a month. When did you apply?

I sent in my application complete on Dec. 20th. I dont expect to hear anything until March. I'm totally guessing on that! I have noticed once you get the "decision letter sent" on Sonisweb it takes about 4-5 days to get it in the mail. That's the the CRAZY time! LOL. Last year I was on the waiting list until May!

I really want to get in this year.

Hello Coarchemson ! It is actually my first application to BHSN.

My application went to Under Review , 01/21/2015 Nursing.

I actually very nervous because my Teas score is 70.

I am not sure my Nursing GPA. I just don't know how to calculate.

Hope I really get in this year.. :)

See you all in BHSN in this FALL not next year! !!!!!!!

Hi,My status changed today to decision letter sent. Also, other items were added to my checklist like CPR and mal practice insurance. I will look out for the letter this week.

Good luck murse203! From what I read it's a good sign if you see additional criteria in your soniweb like cpr. :)

When did your application initially go under review?
