Bridgeport hospital school of nursing fall 2015

Published

I'm looking for anyone who is applying to this school this year. Please let us know when you applied and any progress you make to getting accepted. Good luck to everyone!

I applied in early Dec. and decided to to retake the TEAS test before sending it for review. Form what I understand it takes anywhere from 2 weeks - 2 months to get accepted or not. Past experience has said more like the 2 months is the norm. I should be getting my results from the TEAS test today and it will be promptly moved to review next week (1/19/15). I will confirm the date when it actually gets sent.

I will update any progress as I get it.

Anybody else get a blurb at the end of the letter mentioning the English composition requirement even though they submitted all transcripts? Just trying to figure out if this is a general part of the acceptance letter all students get, or if it's just me and

my class just didn't meet their requirements :/

My acceptance letter said the same thing although I took the class! I was wondering the same thing.

Mine said the same thing. I think everyone may get that because I also took the course already.

Hey everyone! I'm new to the site but have been following for quite some time just to get an idea about when people were receiving their letters. I sent my application back in October 2014 and everything was completed by the end of January and took the TEAS at the end of January as well. My application has been under review since 02/04/14, I've been anxiously awaiting for the disposition to change or magically receive a letter in the mail. Congrats to all who have been accepted! I had a question with regards to the nursing gpa? I've seen it on a few posts, what is it?

Hello everyone, I'm also new to this and awaiting an acceptance letter as well! God willing! I have been in review since 2/27. We're all sitting ducks in such a big pond waiting. Congrats to everyone who was accepted! My teas wasn't so great and that's what I'm worry about. This is very nerve wrecking as I'm checking my status on a regular basis. I was told letters went out today for those that are waiting but I wasn't on that list. Good luck to everyone that's still waiting!

Welcome Rachel! Nursing GPA just refers to your GPA for your nursing prerequisite courses. Wish you the best of luck!

Has anyone up here applied for Norwalk community as well?

twash37, that was my second choice from NVCC.

Coachremson. Really? Gateway was my 2nd choice! Probably won't hear anything from them til like the end of April huh? What was your teas and GPA if you don't mind me asking?

Community colleges due their pickings different from bpt as the teas really hold the biggest factor.

I fell short of my goal (70.0) with a 68.3 / 3.5 NGPA. My stats are not as good as others. But, I have lots of experience in health care, and outstanding references.I'm hoping that pushes me over the top. I have alread been accepted to St. Vincents I'm just waiting on NVCC and BHSN.

Just took the TEAS this morning at BHSON with A LOT of other students...NOW THE WAITING BEGINS:nailbiting:
