I applied in early Dec. and decided to to retake the TEAS test before sending it for review. Form what I understand it takes anywhere from 2 weeks - 2 months to get accepted or not. Past experience has said more like the 2 months is the norm. I should be getting my results from the TEAS test today and it will be promptly moved to review next week (1/19/15). I will confirm the date when it actually gets sent.
Hi all. I finally received my acceptance letter Friday. They had changed my status Monday to decision letter sent, but had backdated it to Jan. 12th. Those if you still waited for your letters, my checklist was the same throughout, but my status in the upper right corner changed to accepted. Hope you all hear soon, and those of you who are accepted already, congrats and see you at orientation!!
I didn't get in this schools a joke I have a 3.6 gpa and work at yale. They can take there Mickey Mouse diploma and go somewhere with it hopefully I get into the other schools I applied to.

What does working a Yale have to do with anything? Did you think that would mean you'd have an edge on others who didn't work at Yale? I know people who work at Bridgeport Hospital who didn't get into BHSON. It doesn't matter where you work.
And why would you apply to (not once but TWICE) and want to go to a school that 'sucks' and has a "Mickey Mouse diploma'?
I got my rejection letter Still waiting on other schools but I completey understand there's hundreds of applicants they can't pick us all. My grades were great and I'm a CNA but that doesn't always matter. Can't give up this is my dream!!! Good luck to the rest of you who got accepted :)
Chris890,I can see why you are frustrated but be positive. You have other applications and you have a job. Not many people can do well enough in their science courses to make it to this point. So be proud of that but keep your head up. We are all going to hit some huddles as nurses so we got to have tough skin. Good luck with your apps.
Sorry you did not make it in, and I get you are frustrated but life is not fair. Keep looking forward and improve yourself. Maybe this is opening up another door for you? Good luck!
FYI - went to St.Vincents last night for an "info session". Lets just say it moved up on my list. I was very impressed with the small classes and how they accept people into the school. It may not be perfect but I must say getting my Associates with them is a draw. Still no movement on the BHSN front.
Ct pixie mind your own business im sorry you don't like my opinion. I could care less what you have to say. Me applying to BHSN doesn't concern you at all.
Much like you not caring if I like your opionion or not, I feel the same. You posted on a public forum and stated your opinion, I in turn responded with MY opinion. We both have that right.
You applying to BHSON twice..yup, not my concern..not my problem. Just found it ironic that you liked the school enough to apply twice trying to get in. Yet when you were not accepted into the program, all of a sudden it was the school was a joke and you didn't want their Mickey Mouse diploma. Sour grapes. But I would bet anything, if you were accepted, you'd just love the school and wouldn't be able to wait to get the Mickey Mouse diploma.

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I'm still waiting for my status to change....maybe it will happen next week!
