Bridge Programs

I will be graduating soon from a 2 year ADN program. I plan on working in the field for a while, but I plan on continuing my education by bridging into a masters program. Does anybody have any insight or experience with this type of program? Pro & Cons? Anything will be helpful.

Thanks

In order to get into a masters program you need to have a bachelors degree first. So you would have to do another 2 years in nursing unless you do a PATH program from ADN to BSN then you can apply to a masters program. hope that helps :)

I am also considering this sounds like a great idea. Can't wait to hear back from anyone that has been a part of one of these programs. University of Mississippi offers a RN to MSN program and I plan on looking into it after finishing my ADN program.

Not always, I have a few friends who graduated with me from our ADN program. None of them have a bachelors in any field. They are enrolled in an RN to MSN program. The program combines the BSN and MSN program. You do it together and you complete it in less time than if you were doing ADN to BSN to MSN.
