Alrighty... We have a new nurse in our ICU/CCU that over the past month has been leading up to telling us that she "bought / achieved" her BSN in 1 month. She readily admits to having her ADN for "over 7 years", and that she really didn't want to "waste the time in a traditional BSN program".
I have to admit, I'm a bit irritated by that for several reasons, with the first one being that I am 1 year into a BSN completion course, and even though I'm not getting as much as I would like out of it, it's the process that one has to take to advance / mature their role as an RN. Second of all, stop the retarded bragging. Third.. well, why the HECK didn't HR find out / figure out that her BSN was bogus? The individual stated that "it's impossible to find out, I got my degree from a school that was closed, and I have transcripts / recommendations to back it up".
What the heck (would love to insert a stronger word at this point)??
Do I have any avenue to report her / deflate this pompous fool for the fake she is?
