Hello everyone - I just wanted to create a thread for those of us applying to direct entry programs in the Boston area to talk. Has anyone heard from any schools yet? Although I did not apply to Regis early decision (I am applying by the regular deadline), I know that they have likely already notified people - congrats to those who got in! I called Boston College a few days ago, and they said they are notifying people late February. I'm also applying to MGH, Northeastern and Simmons.
Good luck to everyone!
I'm willing to bet the weather has slowed down the schools' review of applications - a lot of the schools (even the Universities) have been closed because of the blizzards, or they close early - plus I bet the admissions offices at these schools has a lower threshold for closing than the rest of the university...
I'm so relieved that no one else has heard back yet. I've applied to Columbia, BC, Northeastern, Mass General, and Simmons. I applied for the pysch track at all schools other than Simmons because they just have the family practitioner program. I just graduated from Simmons in December was a BS in pyschobiology. I didn't do well at all on my GRE, which I'm hoping won't kill me chances of getting in!
I applied to Umass Worcester, NE, MGH and Regis. Regis and Umass offered me a place already after doing the interviews but Ive not paid the deposit. NE was my first choice and was hoping to hear by now but talked to the admissions coordinator yesterday and she said the Direct Entry Program they've not even started looking at those applications so we will hear Late Feb. NOt heard anythign from MGH

Hello, I've applied to BC, MGH & Columbia. Here's my statistics:
GPA: 3.4~3.5, GRE:1200+3.5
Also, I've spent more than 300 hours to observe in a inpatient hospital.
I know it is very competitive to get into the program. But I really want to know about my chance.
